Ian McMahon started building combat robots in 2003 when he was 14. He is a wealth of information about them and is working to help the next generation get started. He has been on a TV show for combat robots and has won tournaments across the United States.

What inspired you to make this project or participate?
I watched Battlebots as a kid and started in 2003. Now, I want to raise awareness of combat robots as a STEAM hobby that kids (6+) can do.
