Austin Typewriter, Ink.

Kids & Family
Vintage typewriters are experiencing a resurgence, whether it is because of their beautiful mechanisms or their reliance on manual power, they are inspiring new generations. We would love to introduce these classic typewriters to the new craftsmen.

What inspired you to make this project or participate?
Our typewriter groups love for the typewriter. I suggested to our group that we share our (quite large) collection of typewriters with young and old alike. I wrote a dissertation on the Machine and the Craftsman in Modern American Architecture. I love how the Machine and the Craftsman work together to create.
